ESA questions
Does my ESA cover a gardening curriculum?
In most states, yes. It's typically approved as an Agriculture elective or a Science/Life Science supplement. Use the course description on this page when you submit, and check the approved expense categories with your own ESA administrator.
What's the difference between the two options?
Buying direct from us is fastest and you submit the receipt for reimbursement. Ordering on Rainbow Resource Center is for programs that pay the vendor directly. Your funds never leave the portal.
Can I use ClassWallet or another ESA platform?
Yes, if your program buys through Rainbow Resource Center. They're an approved vendor on ClassWallet, MyScholarShop, Odyssey, and TheoPay depending on the state. Use the Rainbow Resource option above and check out with your platform's funds.
What paperwork can you provide?
An itemized receipt or invoice, our W-9 and EIN, and a scope & sequence or course description for your submission. Email info@dirtacademykids.com and we'll send it the same day.
My state isn't listed. Can I still use my funds?
Usually. Buy direct, then submit the itemized receipt to your program for reimbursement. That path works for most ESAs even when a vendor isn't formally enrolled.
Can I use ESA funds for the video lessons and coaching?
Often yes, as part of the curriculum package. The videos and coaching are instructional components. Some programs treat digital access differently, so confirm with your administrator first.
